Description:
The Clinical Pharmacology and DMPK (CPDMPK) department at Theravance Biopharma, in partnering with Simulations Plus, Inc., is seeking a Ph.D. level candidate who is driven to use modeling and simulation (M&S) approaches, with special focus on physiologically-based pharmacokinetic modeling techniques (PBPK), to better understand the depositional characteristics of preclinical and clinical drug candidates developed within Theravance Biopharma.
Qualifications/Experience:
Candidates should have solid expertise in PBPK and strong hands-on M&S skills. Hands-on experience with GastroPlus, Matlab SimBiology, and/or other PBPK software is required. Hands-on experience with other modeling and simulation software (such as ADAPT, Berkeley-Madonna, NONMEM, and SPLUS/R) is a plus. The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
