Bioanalytical Research Scientist, DMPK (SM/Biomarker)

Description:
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS systems.
- Perform bioanalysis of small molecules and biomarkers in various biological matrices including plasma, urine, CSF, and tissues of interest.
- Develop and qualify fit-for-purpose LC-MS/MS assays.
- Work with DMPK scientists to develop assays to support in vitro ADME studies.
- Interpret data, write scientific reports, review and QC incoming data from CROs, and communicate bioanalysis results to other scientists and project teams.
Qualifications/Experience:
- PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Drug Metabolism, Pharmacokinetics, or related scientific discipline, or BS/MS with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of biotech/pharmaceutical or CRO experience.
- Hands-on experience with various sample preparation techniques (protein precipitation, LLE, and SPE) is required.
- Experience with chromatographic separation and mass spectrometry is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge with GLP/GCP regulated assay is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively with other scientists on cross-functional projects teams.
- Excellent oral presentation and written communication skills.
