Temporary Contract Specialist– DMPK Research Associate or Scientist

Description:
The primary responsibility of the contract position is to conduct in vitro ADME assays (e.g., CYP inhibition, metabolic stability and protein binding) in a DMPK lab and perform in vivo pharmacokinetic sample bioanalysis to support drug discovery and development.
Qualifications/Experience:
- A BS, MS or PhD degree in biochemistry, analytical or organic chemistry, or other relevant fields
- For candidates with a BS or MS degree, a minimum of 3 years of experience with in vitro DMPK assays in the drug discovery or drug development environment; for candidates with a PhD, no industry experience is required
- Hands-on experience with in vitro ADME assays including CYP inhibition, metabolic stability and protein binding is required
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience of liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (Preferably with Sciex triple-quadrupole mass spectrometers)
- Hands-on experience with quantitative analysis of small molecules in complex biological matrices such as plasma, serum, and tissue homogenates
- Hands-on experience with bioanalytical sample preparation skills, such as protein precipitation, solid phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction
- Excellent communication skills are required
