Position:
Scientist 1/Scientist 2, DMPK

Description:
This position will report to Senior Director DMPK and be responsible for designing and conducting in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies for small molecules and oligonucleotides.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Work closely with nonclinical scientists and cross-functional project team members. May act as functional representative on discovery project teams.
- Design and interpret in vitro and in vivo DMPK studies, prepare/review protocols, oversee outsourced DMPK studies.
- Determine PK parameters for nonclinical studies using WinNonlin and CRO management.
- Generate, analyze and present data, both orally and as written reports, author and/or contribute to various regulatory documents.
Qualifications/Experience:
Required Education and Experience:
- PhD or Pharm D. in Pharmacokinetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field with a specific focus on small molecule and oligonucleotide pharmacokinetics and metabolism with 0 to 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proven expertise in conducting in vitro and/or DMPK studies.
- Proven track record of scientific/technical writing and presentation.
- Knowledge of drug development and regulatory guidelines.
